This past summer at Real Projectives®, Blake gained first-hand experience in real estate and project management processes and tasks to complement his bachelor’s in architecture degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
“I was able to understand and support a diverse set of projects across industries, around the country, and at every step in the development cycle.”
Blake was exposed to the financial side of development, saw dozens of different projects in various stages, helped us enhance using an online reporting tool, and researched use of timber construction, among a great variety of other activities. He also learned about interpersonal communications, professional relationships, and navigating real-world conflicts.
We are thankful for his hard work. Senior Project Manager, Matthew Scott shared that “Blake was instrumental in assisting us with executing capital planning for critical projects at a variety of different properties. He also played a valuable role in furthering our development and implementation of field reporting software that has helped us become more efficient during our site visits to properties across the country.”
We wish Blake the best as he pursues a Master of Architecture and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development from the University of Virginia and onwards to a bright future.
