Despite the threat of thunderstorms, employees from Real Projectives® grabbed their tools and cleaning supplies to help spruce up an important food kitchen and pantry in Laurel, Maryland.
Our team performed many tasks for the Elizabeth House, home of Fish of Laurel, Inc., to prepare the property for its open house and volunteer appreciation family picnic on May 5, 2019.
Among the many repairs and clean-up tasks were fixing pickets around the porch for safety, and mending gutters and exterior trim. We dressed up the facility’s curb appeal by trimming bushes, laying down fresh mulch and stone, and pressure-washing the siding, windows and porch.
At the Elizabeth House, volunteers serve hot meals to homeless guests every day of the year. And, three times a week, volunteers distribute groceries to those in need throughout the community. This non-profit organization has made a positive impact on our community since 1976, and we are glad to volunteer and be included in the group’s efforts.
Real Projectives®, a project management firm based in Laurel, Maryland, believes strongly in being part of our community. We gladly donate food, materials and time to multiple organizations throughout the year.
