After a week of intense rainy weather, the morning of October 11 was sunny and mild – a perfect day for CREWBaltimore’s 2022 Charity Golf Event.
After a light breakfast provided by CREWBalitmore, HR Generalist Sarah Fremuth and Communications Specialist Iris Vukmanovic took their place at the first hole. The Real Projectives table was set-up for the duration of the competition, and as participants came by to play, they got to take a Frankie the Ferret sticker along with them. The hours flew by with friendly chatter and new connections being made.
Our golf-playing foursome consisted of Senior Project Manager Jerome Johnson, Project Manager Parker Aylor, Assistant Project Manager Connor Jones and Justin Hwang of Quality Transportation Services. They played through the course and managed to get a score around fifth place in the competition. They were hopeful to be the winners of the Longest Drive with Jones’ strong hit, however, there was someone else who got a higher score. Like the good sports that they are, the foursome was unfazed and said they enjoyed bonding and playing golf together with the beautiful breezy weather.
Afterwards, everyone gathered for the award ceremony, raffle and tasty lunch. Thank you to CREWBaltimore for hosting a fun event for such a good cause!
