When an August day is hot and humid, missing work for an outing can have its own rewards.

Several members of our team recently attended Round 2 of the BMW Championship—a chance to see some of golf’s best take on the 7,226-yard Caves Valley Golf Club course in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Parker echoed enthusiasm “We had a great time away from talking about work, watching the best at what they do, and getting to know each other better.”

While part of the day was spent chasing shade, walking over 9 miles, and drinking cold beverages; everyone enjoyed seeing the professional golfers up close and admiring their expertise for the game on a beautiful course near our backyards. Being at this event energized us to participate in some charity golf events this Fall, and to notice more just how bad we are compared to the pros.
