2023 Howard County Executive Small Business Summit
Real Projectives proudly sponsored the 2023 Howard County Executive’s Small Business Summit.
The conference was hosted by the Calvin Ball County Executive, Howard County Economic Development Authority, Howard County Chamber, and the Central Maryland Chamber.
The summit started with a keynote and panel discussion on AI which included experts from the field: Director of Privacy, Data Security, and Compliance at Whiteford Taylor and Preston LLP Bruce Martino, CEO of AWT Solutions Rahmira Rufus, and Principal of Incite Automation Dustin Sitton. The discussion covered topics such as how to safeguard data while using AI, potential future developments of AI and even included a demonstration of new AI features incorporated in programs like Microsoft Teams and Adobe Photoshop.
Following the panel were two break out sessions that covered mergers and acquisitions, reputation management online, succession planning, and online marketing and social media strategy.
The summit was very informative and catered toward the needs of modern small businesses. It was a great opportunity and resource for small business owners to network and gather information. Thank you to all the hosts for organizing the summit this year.
