Fulfilling a Turnkey Renovation Through Tenant Improvements & Project Management.
BioStat Solutions, a medical research and analysis firm, needed to create the company’s newly-leased headquarters suite located in Frederick, Maryland’s Westview Corporate Center. The landlord agreed to provide a turnkey solution for the build out of a modern office space. Real Projectives® was hired to project manage the endeavor. Overseeing renovation design, tenant improvements and construction processes are just some of our core capabilities.
Meeting the company’s specific needs.
In order to successfully move into their new address, BioStat Solutions had required that the 11,200 square-feet of space include:
- Open and closed work spaces
- Conference rooms
- Modern break room
- Critical server room
We had a budget of $820,000 and six months to complete the work–not very much time. We quickly tasked the architect and engineering team with preparing drawings that satisfied BioStat’s needs. Once they were approved, we built the office suite on-time and per design.
Overcoming challenges.
While most of the build out involved routine requests, the server room required the design and installation of special mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems. This meant we had to be extra diligent with our specifications and construction management. The landlord also requested that we be mindful of the base building upgrades, which were being worked on at the same time as our build out. So we coordinated schedules to ensure there were no miscues.
On time and on budget.
Despite the tight time constraints, we were able to complete the project by deadline and to everyone’s satisfaction. BioStat Solutions moved into their new modern office suite without a hitch.
