Rock Shadows RV Resort

As project manager, RPL led renovations for a 683-site, 55+ community of manufactured homes, park models and RV sites in Apache Junction, AZ on behalf of a major institutional private equity firm.

Comprehensive improvements included: renovation of a 9,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with large chef’s kitchen, a gathering space with seating for 250+, a billiards room, three offices, an employee breakroom, conference space, and new ADA-compliant restrooms. Ancillary buildings were reprogrammed and renovated with a new fitness center, a library, and an arts & crafts room.

Newly constructed outdoor amenities included pickleball, bocce-ball, and corn hole courts, a putting green, rehabilitation of the pool/spa facilities, added shade and bleachers for the shuffleboard court and dog park.

The property’s 50-year-old infrastructure is being upgraded to include: repaving asphalt roadways, repairing and replacing sewer lines, adding water submeter, upgrading streetlights to solar-power, and undergrounding overhead electrical lines.
