Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport

RPL managed recovery efforts at the eight-story Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport, a 335-room hotel with 27,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, following Hurricane Harvey damage. After conducting comprehensive property surveys, RPL assembled and coordinated specialized teams (forensic investigation, design and construction) to address water remediation, capital improvements, and operational concerns. The scope included extensive repairs to the curtain wall, windows, masonry, steel infrastructure, environmental remediation, and drainage systems. Through monthly site visits, strategic planning, and careful coordination between hotel operations and construction teams, we minimized guest disruption while reducing construction costs through alternative material recommendations. Our comprehensive oversight helped successfully mitigate client risk and maintained hotel operations throughout the renovation process.
